throwing on the first, because this document is authored by hand and
handing back all five mistakes beats handing back the first one five

The CFG_ prefix namespaces the shared vocabulary in that module:
CFG_NOT_OBJECT is its NOT_OBJECT, CFG_BAD_VERSION its
UNSUPPORTED_VERSION, and the two _SHAPE codes are BAD_SHAPE
narrowed to a location. The prefix predates the shared type and is
kept because renaming a published code breaks hosts that match on it.
